Marketing, business planning and law

For this trimester we were tasked in groups to come up with a business idea and demonstrate an understanding of basic business and marketing concepts and practices in relation to the creative media industries. We were also required to discuss legal and ethical issues of the creative media industries and basic concepts of communication studies.

We would then apply business and marketing planning concepts, communicate business and marketing ideas and proposals and summarise the needs of a given situation.

Our group's idea was to create an online platform called 'PolyFactory' that provided both a marketplace for 3D assets as well as a social media network.
